Great service and food was good too! Lots of choices and price ranges. Had a steak, chicken sandwich and French onion soup with salad. Would definitely go back when passing through.
We were repeat visitors as we returned from FL. We again were greeted with a huge smile and sat in the bar area. Shante told us she would be out server. We ordered a beer an water and said we knew we wanted the Caesar Salad. She got that and then I ordered Smothered Chicken...yum. It came with okra that was outstanding. This is real Southern freshly cooked meals. We got hugs from our now friend Alexay our wait person from 10 days ago. Hubby had the loaded burger and sweet potato fries and of course the warm Pecan pie a la mode. We were also surprised the manager came over to thank us for the review we did on Trip Advisor. I was told by TA I couldn't do another review so I came here. This is a friendly place and they really want you to enjoy the food and service. Since it is on the way from our home to our family in FL this will be a stop for us all year.
While the restaurant seemed a little understaffed the service was great and so friendly! It's not a fancy place and we only ordered beer to drink but we enjoyed ourselves. They checked on us several times and were quick to return with our requests. Overall, great place and we will return!
This place was within walking distance from where I was staying, so I looked forward to coming here. I'm glad I did. This place is pretty classy. Not suit and tie fancy, but probably appreciates the collared shirts, Polo Ralph Lauren jeans/slacks Stacy adams, but they welcome all walks of clientele. Has really good decorum throughout the establishment. Even though it's pretty clean for the most part, it could use a good dusting especially on the lighting. I noticed as I was leaving, they had frog legs tonight. Wish I would have went in a little bit later. But I ordered fried Green tomatoes, which were absolutely stellar. We also ordered some fried pickles, which, I've had better. The menu is pretty diverse but small enough to not get lost in. They have a good array of different types of food. Our bartender was okay. Kind of slow on the service side of it, I sat without a drink for probably about 20 minutes before he asked me if I wanted another one which I didn't anyways so it wasn't a problem, but he was nice and professional. Hopefully I come through this part of Georgia again, cuz I definitely want to go back and try an actual entree instead of just appetizers but I do recommend coming here!!
The secret to eating in Cordele After completing a 9 hour drive down I-75, heading home to FLA, we were ready for drinks and food- and a return to 16East in Cordele, GA We are repeat attendees Great atmosphere, service, responsiveness ,and the staff was constantly on the move. THE outstanding part of the night was Miss Jessica, the bartender!! Absolutely on top of everything- great temperament and a bar pro Besides just alcohol, we thoroughly enjoyed the salads, signature house smothered chicken, great sauté zucchini and beef tips with mushrooms, onion and gravy Great 22oz drafts Two thumbs up to 16East - the team, chefs, staff... and of course Ms Jess!!
